DDH Dance Troupe is a jazz-based performance team that was developed for dancers who desire to perform more often and compete in dance competitions. Members of our Dance Troupe also perform at local events and have the opportunity to attend professional dance workshops to expand their technique and style. All Dancers will be required to sign and agree to our commitment form prior to auditions.
TROUPE AUDITIONS FOR OUR UPCOMING 2024-25 SEASON:
*COMPLIMENTARY REFRESHER CLASS WILL BE HELD ON MONDAY JUNE 17TH FROM 4-5PM (JRS) 5-6PM (SRS).This refresher class is perfect for newcomers looking to improve their skills, individuals wanting to reintegrate after a summer break, and those seeking feedback on their technique before tryouts. Crew students can come and use this time to work on acro skills, although it mainly will be jazz-based. Attendance is optional for all participants.
• JUNIOR TROUPE level dancers (ages 8-13.5 or by recommendation): TUESDAY, JUNE 18th 4:30-6:00 pm
• SENIOR TROUPE level dancers (ages 14-20): TUESDAY, JUNE 18th 6:30-8:30 pm

DDH Dance Crew is a Hip Hop-based performance team that was developed for dancers who desire to perform more often and compete in dance competition Members of our Dance Crew also perform at local events and have the opportunity to attend professional dance workshops to expand their technique and style.
CREW - HIP HOP AUDITIONS FOR OUR UPCOMING 2024-25 SEASON:
• JUNIOR CREW level dancers (ages 8-14 or by recommendation): WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19th 4:30-6:00 pm
• SENIOR CREW level dancers (ages 14-20): WEDNESDAY, JUNE 19th 6:30-8:30 pm
• If you have a conflict with these dates, but would still like to be considered for our competition team, please CONTACT US.
DETAILS & PREPARATION:
- All dancers/parents will need to sign a commitment form prior to auditioning.
- Dancers on the fence of age range can try out for both junior and senior (or by teacher recommendation).
- Check-In at front desk to turn in your commitment form, fill out papers, and get your audition number
- Dancers should arrive at least 15-20 minutes early. After checking in, dancers should stretch while they wait for the tryout to begin.
- Two audition forms will be needed to be filled out with the dancer’s/parent’s contact
- information.
- The signed portion of the commitment form should be turned-in (form is attached to this email)
- Please note that all previous balances must be zero to be considered for upcoming season Troupe or Crew
- Parents will not be allowed to watch during the audition. Dancers can be picked up at the end
- Troupe dancers should wear leotard or fitted top with leggings biking shorts. Bring jazz shoes, half-soles or ballet shoes.
- Crew dancers should wear leggings, sweats or shorts with a t-shirt and their hip hop sneakers or a clean pair of regular sneakers.
